Ms. Hicks dedicates the majority of her practice to assisting families with adoption needs.

Prior to joining Leatherwood Walker Todd & Mann, P.C. in 2001, Ms. Hicks clerked for the Honorable Joseph J. Watson.

Civic & Charitable Activities

Ms. Hicks is involved in Big Brothers/ Big Sisters and is the President of the Young Alumni Council for Furman University.

Ms. Hicks also serves as a representative of attorneys in the 13th Judicial Circuit in the South Carolina Bar House of Delegates.

Accolades

• While attending law school, Ms. Hicks was a member of the South Carolina School of Law Moot Court Bar, later being elected to serve on its Executive Committee. She captained Moot Court’s National Competition Team, which finished as one of the top eight teams in the nation. She received the CALI award in South Carolina Environmental Law. While at Furman, Ms. Hicks played varsity softball, helping win two Southern Conference Championships and receiving All-Conference honors.
