Frank C. Williams III

Mr. Williams' practice covers a range of commercial transactions, with a focus on mergers and acquisitions and lending. He has advised corporations and limited liability companies and their ownership groups in structuring and negotiating stock and asset acquisitions and dispositions and in a variety of commercial and corporate matters, including reorganizations, organizational matters, shareholder and operating agreements, joint ventures, corporate governance and general business and contractual matters. He has represented commercial lending institutions and borrowers in a variety of financing transactions. Mr. Williams has also advised corporations and governmental bodies on economic incentive matters, particularly negotiated fee-in-lieu of tax transactions.

Civic & Charitable Activities
- Mr. Williams is a member of the Board of Directors of Communities in Schools of Greenville, an organization that advocates the connection of community resources with schools to help students successfully learn and stay in school.
Professional Activities- Mr. Williams currently serves as the Chairman of the Upstate and Central South Carolina Regional Selection Committee for the Jefferson Scholars Program of the University of Virginia Alumni Association.
- Mr. Williams is a member of the Board of Directors of the Upstate Alliance, a regional economic development organization representing the ten county upstate region of South Carolina.
Accolades- Mr. Williams was a Jefferson Scholar and an Echols Scholar at the University of Virginia and a member of the Pi Kappa Alpha Fraternity and Omicron Delta Kappa. While attending law school, Mr. Williams was a Carolina Legal Scholar. He was a member of the South Carolina Law Review and was an Articles Editor his third year. He was also a member of the Order of the Coif and the Order of the Wig and Robe and a student member of the John Belton O’Neall Inns of Court.
